\nIn January, Netflix expanded to 130 new countries. As they expand globally a new black market has sprung up selling stolen Netflix accounts – some for as little $.25. Feeding this market are a host of new phishing scams duping unwitting users to ‘official’ Netflix sites where they are asked to enter their usernames and passwords.<\/p>\n
Many countries have been targeted. Right now, the two seeing the most activity are Brazil and Denmark. So, if you’re a Netflix user and you get an official-looking email offering you a special discount, BEWARE.<\/p>\n
If the mail directs you to a Netflix site where you are asked to log in, DON’T! Report the email as spam and save yourself the hassle of having to disentangle your Netflix account from thieves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
